Webhelp, the European market leader in customer experience and business process outsourcing, signed a cooperation agreement with UWV Werkbedrijf on 17 January.
With this agreement, Webhelp fulfills its ambition to play an important role in filling jobs for people not in the labor force. The UWV, in turn, endeavors to introduce these candidates to Webhelp and to help a minimum of 100 jobseekers to find jobs in 2018.

As the market leader in customer contact with more than 3,500 employees in Groningen, Ede, Zoetermeer, Tilburg, Rotterdam, Nijmegen, Hilversum and Enschede, there is always a vacancy in the region. It is sometimes underestimated what it means to work in a contact center. At Webhelp, candidates are given the opportunity to gain relevant work experience in communication, services and commercial skills. Also, we invest in the development of our employees with the aid of the GROWTH model and the Talent academy. ”
Tof Thissen, Director of the Werkbedrijf division: “Our effort is aimed at supporting job-seekers with unemployment benefits in finding a job. We actively seek cooperation with labor market partners such as municipalities, employers and temporary employment agencies. That we now have a national collaboration with Webhelp is good news. At least 100 jobseekers can thus get back to work with an employer. That’s what it’s all about in the end.
