Rights and Diversity

Webhelp is passionate about upholding human rights and promoting diversity. Treating people fairly and equally, without discrimination, is an essential part of our culture as a company. While Webhelp is a secular company, and follows the calendar set out by the government of each country in which it operates, our team will work to meet individual requirements wherever possible. Webhelp adheres to the UN Global Compact on human rights, labour rights, the environment and anti-corruption, and complies with the provisions on underage workers as stated in EU directives and ILO conventions. All employment with Webhelp is voluntary, and we allow workers to associate with others, form and join (or refrain from joining) organisations of their choice, and bargain collectively, without interference, discrimination, retaliation or harassment.

We offer positive working conditions, and provide a healthy, safe and pleasant working environment. Our commitment to health and safety has been consistently strong since the company launched, and we continually strive to improve conditions in line with evolving standards. We have national work environment policies that are regularly reviewed, and have developed and implemented action plans and procedures to address health and safety issues.

Our Environment

Webhelp is committed to sustainability, and environmental responsibility is at the core of how we operate. Our work in this area centres on people engagement and marketplace action as well as environmental leadership. Webhelp maintains an active dialogue with, and places appropriate demands upon, our people, partners and suppliers. We ensure that our leadership promotes greater awareness of sustainability by collaborating with other companies, agencies and organisations on environmental initiatives. We work continuously to develop, implement and maintain environmentally responsible business practices. A primary aim is to increase knowledge and awareness of environmental issues among all employees, following ISO 14001 audited environmental guidelines.


Our people are educated to recognise the signs of extortion, bribery and other unlawful or unethical practices. Ethical company policies, careful suppler evaluation and advanced software tools for checking and processing requisitions have all contributed to Webhelp’s anti-corruption initiative. We rigorously comply with all applicable international anti-corruption conventions, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

Confidentiality and Information Security

It is vital to Webhelp that information about our partners and their customers is treated safely and with the utmost confidentiality. Our processing of personal data is subject to the care and skill required by law and our service agreements, whether the information belongs to clients, customers, our people or others. Our information security requirements are closely monitored, and we place a high value on the availability, security and compliance of our IT systems.

Addressing Complaints and Concerns

Our commitment to treating customers well is part of our ethics and value framework as a company. Webhelp is authorised and regulated by leading governing bodies in all of its locations. We encourage our people to report any conduct in violation of the law or Webhelp’s policies. Webhelp provides an anonymous complaint mechanism for the reporting of workplace grievances. All concerns and issues raised will be treated in a confidential manner, to the extent necessary to conduct a complete and fair investigation, and complainant’s identities will be kept confidential. We do not allow any form of punishment of any person who makes a report in good faith, and Webhelp takes responsibility for ensure that all complaints about unethical or illegal conduct are investigated and resolved.
