Webhelp’s IT infrastructure and technology ecosystem enables the business to maintain consistency of operations across all regions. We operate for high levels of performance, with an ongoing focus on efficiency, quality and the development of new solutions.

Supporting Ongoing Operations

Webhelp’s IT Infrastructure is managed on a global level, and is comprised of 250+ engineers and technicians across all areas of expertise. This area of the company relies on a single shared services centre that is in charge of IT operations and application development. Our 24/7 helpdesk and network operating centre ensure the continuity and reliability of all Webhelp operations.

Designing and Delivering Solutions

The Webhelp technology ecosystem combines the latest market leading products with proprietary software. These tools are often designed to meet the needs of our clients – our years of experience mean that we now have a wide range of off-the-shelf solutions to offer.

Our IT infrastructure is spread over several datacentres, interconnected via a fully redundant wide area network. It operates as one scalable virtual contact centre. Above this, we have a unique information system connected to a BI environment that allows us to deliver 360° analysis and ensure consist operation across all regions.

Application Landscape

Our application landscape has been designed to ensure consistency and interactivity across all platforms. We select software on a “best of breed” basis, and hire talented experts to ensure internal support and maintenance is responsive and effective – we also prioritise high-quality training for end users.

Security

Security, governance, risk and compliance are highly prioritised at all levels of Webhelp, as proven by its PCI-DSS certification. The Webhelp IT team is dedicated to improving availability and guaranteeing business continuity and data integrity. Three complementary pillars are in place to ensure these goals are achieved:

  • A governance team in charge of defining, deploying and auditing policies surrounding security and data protection
  • A 24/7 Security Operation Centre (SOC), in charge of information systems monitoring and defending, and forensic investigations
  • Local correspondents who are responsible for monitoring the implementation of security and data protection policies.

In the long term our aim is to continue to deliver the same high levels of performance and security in the context of strong and continuing international growth.
