Webhelp UK’s Glasgow site embarks on festive fundraising

Our Glasgow team is supporting Glasgow City Mission in the run-up to Christmas by undertaking a number of fundraising events on site.

Glasgow City Mission provides food and support to vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the city who are leading difficult lives.  It hopes to help improve their quality of life through a number of projects, initiatives and activities. 

The Mission has launched a Christmas appeal to raise funds and provide food for those in need over the festive period.  Our Glasgow team is lending their support to the cause in December by taking part in a Christmas jumper day, hosting a tuck shop and sporting their onesies at work.

The team is also collecting non-perishable food for the Mission throughout the month of December which will be delivered to the Mission during the week before Christmas. Our client partner kindly got involved with our Christmas jumper day and has been contributing to the food bank. 

Our Glasgow Ambassador, Karen McNicol, has been responsible for coordinating the fundraising events. Karen said:

“The Glasgow City Mission is a fantastic cause that undertakes really important work throughout the year. We wanted to contribute to their work during December as the festive period can be a difficult time for many. We’ve had an overwhelming response to our activities so far and are very appreciative of the support we have received from all the Webhelp UK management.”
