Joseph Ayala joined Webhelp in October 2015 and is responsible for the Group’s mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity worldwide. The role involves shaping and communicating M&A strategy, originating deal opportunities and leading transaction execution.
Prior to Webhelp, Joseph was at Travelex for five years, where he was also responsible for M&A worldwide. In this role, Joseph completed c. £2 billion of transactions including the successful exit by Apax Partners and founder Lloyd Dorfman. He also led a £440m refinancing involving high yield bonds and bank finance. Prior to Travelex, Joseph spent 15 years in the City of London as an M&A banker at Credit Suisse First Boston and Collins Stewart Hawkpoint.
Joseph is fluent in English, French and Spanish and holds an MA (Honours) degree in Physics and Philosophy from the University of Oxford.
