Working at Webhelp

Your career

At Webhelp UK, we don’t employ people to merely have jobs, we believe in creating opportunities for our people to have successful careers.

Our aim is to not only WOW our customers, but also provide a WOW career journey to our employees. We endeavour to create sustainable futures for our people by not only providing opportunities for learning and development, but also career advancement.

Benefits

We understand that our employees deserve more than just a competitive salary and we are constantly looking for innovative ways to improve our flexible benefits package.

Our comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is available 24/7 – offering support online and via phone/text. Benefits include free counselling sessions, financial guidance, basic legal advice, family and work-related support.

Benefits you can expect to receive

WebHEALTH provides free fruit, health kiosks, health awareness campaigns, guest speakers, exercise classes, free eye tests and free financial budget planning. We also have our WISE intranet channel with health-related videos and information.

Perks at Work is our new benefits portal offering discounts to supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants, holidays and travel. You can also earn points to redeem against future purchases. Plus a cycle to work scheme and pension.

Reward and Recognition

Our recognition programme is just one of the ways we acknowledge and recognise exceptional talent on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Winners receive additional leave days and all our top talent are invited to our annual Star Awards – including black tie dinner, entertainment and awards ceremony. Generous cash prizes are awarded. We also recognise and reward employee’s length of service at key milestones, with a gift and letter from our CEO.

Every day, our employees benefit from fantastic learning opportunities like formal development workshops, one-to-one coaching, and exposure to a variety of projects and new skills on the job.

We are also launching our digital learning platform which will allow employees to learn at their own pace, when it is convenient for them.

Engagement

We have a team of Engagement Ambassadors on each site which look after any engagement related ideas or challenges to make sure we provide a WOW place to work. The Ambassadors also make sure people are communicated to, recognised and get involved with our CSR activities.

Every year we ask our colleagues what they think about working for Webhelp through our Your Call employee engagement survey. This isn’t just a one-off questionnaire but a year-round initiative where we listen to feedback and take appropriate action – providing ongoing updates so we are always improving our working practices.

“I first started with Webhelp UK in 2013 as a customer service advisor and within 7 months I was successful in moving to a new role as a Quality Champion. To date, I have been promoted a further four times to my current role as a Deputy Operations Manager. Within each role I’ve received adequate support and development to carry out the responsibilities of that role. Webhelp has fantastic steps in place to support employees and progress them. Anyone who is looking to develop themselves, can. ”

As a UK-based business, Webhelp has recognised and chosen to address the need to support local charities and communities. As a result, we have a number of initiatives to achieve this.

Programme 1

Charity and community work are extremely important to us. We have an annual corporate charity partner who we work closely with to raise money and awareness. On average we raise more than £50,000 for charities each year.

Programme 2

We are passionate about making our business as sustainable as possible and our commitment to the environment is echoed through our ambitious targets to reduce carbon emissions and stop single-use plastic.
