1996 schloss Metin sein Studium der Deutschen Sprache und Literatur an der Universität Istanbul erfolgreich ab und begann daraufhin im Koçbank Call Center zu arbeiten. 1998 wechselte er als Projektspezialist und Teamleiter in den Bereichen Spezialprojekte und Vertrieb zur Egebank .

Danach war er stellvertretender Direktor für alternative Vertriebskanäle in der Demirbank (HSBC) tätig und war als Teil dieser Rolle zwischen 2001 und 2005 Direktor des Call Centers für alternative Vertriebskanäle in Koçbank. 2005 kam Metin als stellvertretender Geschäftsführer zu CMC und wurde 2010 Geschäftsführer. Seit Februar 2013 ist er Mitglied der Callpex-Familie und derzeit CEO von Webhelp Türkiye. Metin ist auch Vorsitzender des Verwaltungsrates der Call Centers Association.
