HEROtsc confirmed that they are to open a customer management centre in Glasgow’s Atlantic Quay to provide sales and service support to Sky.
The company has leased three floors of the prestigious building to accommodate the staff expected to be working for them on the Sky account in Glasgow.
Chief Executive David Turner said: “Following the decision by Sky to move their sales and service support work to HEROtsc from another company, a consultation process has started for those staff who worked on the Sky account in Glasgow.
“HEROtsc will be involved, to ensure a smooth transfer of affected employees.
“We fully understand this can be a confusing time for those people affected and all parties are working together to make the transfer process as simple and straightforward as possible.
Our long-term strategic partnership with Sky underlines the company’s growing strength in the UK customer management sector – David Turner, HEROtsc
“Overall, we are delighted to have underlined our strengthening relationship with Sky. Glasgow will be the fourth HEROtsc centre dedicated to the Sky account, joining Falkirk, Greenock and our recently opened facility in Derby.
“Our long-term strategic partnership with Sky underlines the company’s growing strength in the UK customer management sector.”
HEROtsc currently have around 4500 employees over their UK network with just under 2500 in their Scottish sites.
This Glasgow move, plus the continued expansion of their recently acquired site in Derby will see these numbers steadily increase over the coming months.
