Customer experience company, Webhelp UK, has raised over Â£5081 for the STV Appeal 2013 – more than doubling the amount they raised for the campaign last year.
Webhelp UK carried out a number of fundraising activities across its sites in Scotland in support of the STV Appeal with the whole team getting involved to contribute to this worthy cause.
The Webhelp teams in Scotland took part in pyjama days, a dress down month and a Crazy Golf day that was featured on the live STV Appeal finale.
One of Webhelp UKÂ’s customer experience professionals, Laura McGrandles, was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to attend the STV Appeal live show to present Webhelp UKÂ’s cheque.
Laura commented that the companyÂ’s fundraising activities for the STV Appeal had generated a lot of excitement among the Webhelp teams in Scotland and the opportunity to attend the live event was a great way to see the difference the Appeal makes to so many lives. Laura said:
Â“I was really proud to represent Webhelp UK at the STV Appeal. There was a great atmosphere and it was lovely to see behind the scenes of the show that makes such a big difference to the lives of Scottish children. The whole STV Appeal team were really friendly and made us feel so welcome.Â”
The Webhelp UK teams across Scotland are already gearing up to make their 2014 fundraising activities bigger and better.
